    The Grand Forest East Trail System consists 2.9 miles of meandering forested trails that connect to the Grand Forest West Trail System via the Hilltop Trail. Portions of this trail serve as part of the Cross Island Trail.

    Other trails nearby include the Hilltop Trail, which connects the Grand Forest East Trail System to the Grand Forest West Trail System, and the McRedmond Trail, which connects the Grand Forest East Trail System to the intersection of NE Mc Redmond Lane and Summer Hill Lane NE.

    The Grand Forest East Trail System can be accessed from a parking area on the south side at the 90 degree bend at 9594 Mandus Olson Road NE, approximately 1 mile north of NE New Brooklyn Road Miller Road. A second small parking area which will hold only 2 cars can be accessed on the north side approximately ¾ of a mile south of Koura Rd.
