From the Deerpath Lane NE trailhead for Gazzam Lake, the Peters Trail descends steeply through a forested hillside ending at Listening Lane.
Hikers can then walk south, down Listening Lane to Baker Hill Road where a connection to the Schel Chelb Trail is within a couple hundred feet to the left (west). The Schel Chelb Trail travels from Baker Hill Road to Point White Drive NE near Lynwood Center, ending at a public playground and beach.
Other Trails nearby include the Gazzam Lake Trail system, which begins from the same Deerpath Lane NE trailhead.
The Peters Trail can be accessed from the Gazzam Lake Nature Preserve trailhead parking lot on Deerpath Lane NE. There appears to be two non-sanctioned parking spaces on the end of Listening Lane, on the east side of the road.
