You may recognize the photography of Pam Sproul from the stunning photos she freely shares on the Bainbridge Islanders Facebook page. But what you might not know is that she captures many of the images simply with the camera on her iPhone. This particular keeper, entitled “Boathouse Reflections,” features the iconic wooden shelter on the south side of Eagle Harbor and won an international iPhone photo award. (She’s won 15 of the accolades altogether!) “Living on Bainbridge inspires me to pull out my iPhone and try to capture the remarkable light and reflections on the water,” said Sproul. “Water views are everywhere, and my small dinghy has given me access to some shots that you don’t see from the shore. Keep shooting is my motto—you never know what the next reflection will bring!”
