What is Fort Ward parkrun?
A free, fun, and friendly weekly 5k community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!
When is it?
Every Saturday at 9:00am.
Where is it?
The event takes place at Fort Ward Trail (Upper parking lot), Fort Ward Hill Road NE and Belfair Avenue NE, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. See Course page for more details.
What does it cost to join in?
Nothing - it's free! but please register before you first come along. Only ever register with parkrun once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode
Location of start:
The start/finish line is located in the middle of the park, on the main Lower Fort Ward trail. It is near the bottom of the steep hill from the upper parking lot, by the stand of trees just north of the vault toilet (not by the boat launch). Please allow at least 15 minutes to walk from the upper parking lot down to the start line. Use caution - the hill is short, but very steep!
