Mindful Self-Compassion for Teens (MSC-Teens) is an adaptation of Dr Kristin Neff and Dr Chris Germer Mindful Self-Compassion program.
MSC-Teens supports teens in:
* becoming aware of when they are struggling and learning how to meet these struggles with kindness and compassion,
* realizing they are not along in their struggles,
* being supported and accepted in a safe container with peers.
After this eight week program, most teens experience a decrease in stress, depression, and anxiety as they have more tools to resource themselves in times of struggle and stress.
The program begins April 3 and ends May 29, 2024. No meeting on May 1, 2024.
