    PAWS of Bainbridge Island and North Kitsap is a grass roots volunteer-based nonprofit animal welfare organization. By providing a wide range of direct services, it strives to nurture and sustain the bond of companionship between pets and their people.

    Through its many innovative programs, PAWS helps pets and their families enjoy their lives together. PAWS advocates, educates and promotes responsible pet ownership and the reduction of pet overpopulation through its direct client services, community participation, volunteer training and event sponsorship.

    PAWS is dedicated to the special relationships between pets and their companions for the health and well-being of both. For over 40 years PAWS has been a vibrant part of the community, serving the people and pets on Bainbridge Island and in North Kitsap.
