Description
The Bainbridge Amateur Radio Club (BARC) holds the callsign W7NPC in recognition of the role Bainbridge played during World War II.
The club is affiliated with the Kitsap County Alternate Communications System (ACS), RACES and ARES, and most club members hold identification cards from the Kitsap County Department of Emergency Management. The Links page and those agencies' websites have further information.
The club provides communication assistance to community events such as the classic Chilly Hilly bicycle rally in February, and in the Rotary Auction in late June or early July. Maps for those events are available.
