Alina Korotkina is an award-winning designer of fine jewelry with clients located throughout the United States and Europe. Born in Irkutsk, Russia, Ms. Korotkina in 2012 relocated to Bainbridge Island from Chicago, where she maintained a studio in the famed Jeweler's Row section of Chicago's vibrant diamond district. In 2019, Ms. Korotkina opened a luxury showroom on Winslow Way East in the Shops at Harbor Square. Her original designs combine the grand traditions of Imperial Russian aristocracy with contemporary techniques employed by many of today's leading masters. Ms. Korotkina's designs range from single pieces for private clients to entire OEM lines produced for retail stores. Each design is painstakingly matched to the personal tastes, styles, stories, and needs of her clients based on a highly personal dialogue in which clients are engaged in each step of the process from conception, to hand sketches, to computer renderings, to wax molds, to finished production pieces. Ms. Korotkina's services include family heirloom repairs and restorations, insurance and estate appraisals, custom engravings, and fine watch repair. Ms. Korotkina was voted Best Jewelry Store 2019 in the Readers Choice Awards of the Bainbridge Island Review. She is also the 2008 winner of the New York JCK Magazine "Jewelers' Choice Award" for the diamond jewelry category.
