Bainbridge Island Magazine Logo

Dear Community,

Last year amid the unprecedented circumstances of a global pandemic, we put publication of Bainbridge Island magazine on hold.

A year later, we have decided to permanently discontinue publishing the magazine.

It has been a wonderful ride and a privilege to tell the stories of our community in the eight years since we began publishing Bainbridge Island in 2012. We prided ourselves on treating our subjects with care and helping shine a light on the interesting people, features and enterprises on the island. Every issue became our favorite. Want to revisit some of your favorite stories? You can always browse the digital edition of past issues here:

Much of the content from the eight years of print issues will be migrated to our online home,, so that the stories and columns will be more easily accessible to readers both on and off the island.

We’d like to thank our amazing sales manager for the past eight years, Renee Petheram, and our two fantastic editors, Vicki Wilson and Alli Schuchman. They are skilled professionals and simply fun people to work with. Many thanks to the terrific photographers, writers, designers and producer who helped create engaging content and an impeccable product every season.

The community has been so generous in sharing story ideas, comments of appreciation and encouragement for this magazine and we so appreciate that. Thank you to all those who opened up their homes, their businesses, their personal stories, their hobbies to fellow islanders.

This publication—mailed without charge to every island address four times a year—was made possible through the support of local businesses and organizations of this community. Thank you for supporting us in our mission to highlight the many wonderful stories there are to tell about the island.

We also would like to thank our current advertisers on for their support: Paula Weisinger of StateFarm, Bloedel Reserve, Eagle Harbor Window Coverings, and Lorna Jean Geiger of Windermere. Additional advertising options exist.

We’d like to sign off by reminding you of a story from our very first issue, “50 Reasons We Love Living on Bainbridge Island.” May you be well.
