Description
After two years of hard work Ordway Elementary School opened its doors late in the fall of 1978. At this time the south part of the building was occupied by the fifth grade classes. The north section was still under construction as was the playground. Bill Hoots was the first principal of Ordway. The school is named after Elizabeth Ordway.
