Wineries on Bainbridge Island
You can taste wine on a walk-on day. Two rooms sit on Winslow Way. The vineyard properties do not. Hours are usually afternoon, not 10 a.m. If you leave downtown, someone needs to stay sober. The last boat is still the constraint.
Most island wineries crush grapes grown east of the Cascades. Bainbridge Vineyards is the exception: eight acres of island fruit, about 1,200 cases a year. That is the fact the directory will not spell out. Full list of rooms: bars and wineries. Island-wide clocks: visitor guide.

Hours
Usually afternoon, not seven days. Confirm the morning you go. Do not assume a 10 a.m. pour.
How long
One Winslow room: 45–75 minutes. Two rooms plus lunch: a real afternoon. A vineyard crawl is a car day.
Directory
Every bar and tasting room: bars and wineries directory.
Last boat
Build in ferry padding. Tasting plus a 7 p.m. Seattle dinner is how people miss the sailing.
Two rooms on Winslow Way. Not seven vineyards on foot.
If you walked onto the boat, taste downtown. If you brought a car, pick one vineyard, not a crawl against the last boat.
Walk-on: Winslow Way
Eleven Winery — 287 Winslow Way E. Small-batch wines, including less-common grapes (Mourvèdre, Lemberger, Chenin Blanc, Roussanne) plus Syrah and Pinot Grigio. Started in a garage in 2003. Relaxed tastings — nobody makes you feel like a rookie. elevenwinery.com.
Eagle Harbor Winery has two addresses. The tasting room you can walk to is 400 Winslow Way E, a few blocks from Eleven. Production is out at 8897 Three Tree Lane — that barn is a ride, not a stroll, and it is where they often book live music. Washington fruit, bottled on the island. eagleharbor.wine.
Walk between the two Winslow rooms. Eat in Winslow before or after. Do not leave a car in the ferry holding lot (that lot is for people walking onto Seattle).
Need a ride
Bainbridge Vineyards — 8989 NE Day Road. Eight acres of historic farmland. About 1,200 cases a year, made only from grapes and fruit grown on this island. Listing hours lately: Thursday–Saturday 1–6 p.m., closed Monday–Wednesday. Confirm. bainbridgevineyards.com.
Fletcher Bay Winery — 9415 Coppertop Loop. A small tasting room, not downtown. Car, BI Ride, taxi, Uber, or Lyft. fletcherbaywinery.com.
Rolling Bay Winery — 11272 Sunrise Drive NE, east island. Listing hours: Saturday and Sunday, 12–5 p.m. Grapes from Snipes Mountain in eastern Washington, small lots. Pair it with Rolling Bay village (Bay Hay, bagels) if you already drove east. rollingbaywinery.com.
Perennial Vintners and the rest of the island rooms live in the directory. Hours move. Call. The events calendar often has live music at the production barns — that is the night to book a ride, not a walk-on sprint.
Hours, the boat, a driver
Tasting rooms are afternoon businesses. A 9 a.m. sailing dumps you into a quiet Winslow — coffee first, wine later. Confirm hours the morning you go.
Walk-on tasting does not need a designated driver. Anything past Winslow Way does. BI Ride, a taxi, Uber, or Lyft. Request the ride back before you want to leave. There is no taxi line in a vineyard lot.
Last boat: ferry schedule. Be in the terminal early. Getting around.
