    Feathered Friends Take a Break

    On a peaceful day at Nute's Pond, a trio of ducks found the perfect log to rest upon. Surrounded by lush green water, the scene exudes tranquility. Spanning 31 acres, Nute's Pond is a passive park featuring a serene landscape centered around this quiet pond. Located at the island’s south end off Toe Jam Hill Road, the park was acquired in 2011 with funding from the Open Space Bond and is now managed by the Park District.
