The Bainbridge Island Improvisational Theatre Troupe, now in it’s 17th (or maybe 18th) year (who’s counting?) of performing here and throughout the Northwest!
The Edge began on Bainbridge Island, Washington, with co-founders John Ellis and Frank Buxton among the players. Ken Ballenger was enlisted to direct, and he recruited established Improv performers Susan MacPherson, Matt Whitman, and Cynthia Lair. Dr. Andrew Shields came on board as our keyboard wizard. Popular Seattle theatre actress and singer, Bhama Roget, and Chris Soldevilla, a recognized teacher and practitioner of Improv, joined us too, along with Matt Smith, who appears when his schedule allows. Our latest addition is the lovely and talented Belinda Fu.
The EDGE is now recognized as one of the best Northwest Improv troupes. They look forward to entertaining you for a long time to come and hope to give you “something wonderful, right away!”
