Led by Physical Therapist and Yoga Teacher, Carol Ann Davidson, this workshop is designed for people with scoliosis who want to reduce pain, improve posture, improve respiratory function, and mobilize and strengthen the back for optimal spinal support. You will learn basic yoga poses and breathing techniques including how to adapt and tailor them for specific curve patterns. No previous yoga experience required. Space is limited.
Carol Ann Davidson PT, DSc, RYT 500 has over 30 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, 7 years as a registered yoga teacher, and is currently enrolled in a program to become a certified yoga therapist. She believes that yoga is a lifelong practice that can help people of all abilities improve or maintain strength, flexibility, balance, breath, ease, and function. Blending physical therapy and yoga therapy, she provides support, education, and training for a safe and sustainable movement practice.
