Description
Seattle Chamber Music Society comes to Bainbridge Island for a program featuring two of the most celebrated string quartets in the chamber music canon: Dvořák's "American" and Beethoven's Op. 18 No. 1. Alongside these groundbreaking works, hear Dohnányi's lyrical Serenade for String Trio, all performed by an all-star ensemble including James Ehnes, Tessa Lark, Amy Schwartz Moretti, Che-Yen Chen, Milena Pajaro-van de Stadt, Edward Arron, and Ani Aznavoorian.
On the 250th anniversary of the United States, the 2026 Summer Festival focuses on the composers who have shaped the American classical voice. Every festival program includes a work meaningfully connected to the United States, whether it has been composed in America, by an American, or both. Join Seattle Chamber Music Society from June 18 to July 26 and experience world-class chamber music across concert halls, islands, parks, neighborhoods, and beyond.
