Description
Our Try Rowing Summer Camps give rising 7th–12th graders the chance to unplug, get outside, and experience one of the most rewarding team sports out there. No experience is needed — just curiosity, a willingness to learn, and a love of being on the water.
These one‑week camps are designed specifically for students who have never rowed before. Each day includes two on‑the‑water sessions where campers learn the fundamentals of rowing in a fun, supportive environment. Off the water, athletes build skills through technique work on rowing machines and video review that helps them understand how to move efficiently and confidently.
Rising 8th graders who complete one Try Rowing camp are invited to join our Summer Skills camps, where they can continue developing alongside more experienced rowers.
Try Rowing is the perfect way to discover a new sport, meet new friends, and enjoy the beauty and calm of Eagle Harbor — all while building strength, confidence, and teamwork.
