Duende Libre, Afro-Cuban Jazz Quintet
Duende Libre is a dynamic and uplifting quintet that blend elements of Afro-Cuban jazz with Brazilian samba, American funk, and traditional West African music into a unique sound all of their own. The bands most-recent album was awarded an Earshot Jazz Golden Ear award for Northwest Recording of the Year.
The concert series is proudly presented by the Bainbridge Community Piano Association & First Sundays Concerts, a monthly musical performance series featuring world-class classical and jazz musicians. Bainbridge Community Piano Association is supported in part by Bainbridge Community Foundation, Columbia Bank & Amy McFarland, Compass Real Estate.
The concert takes place at Waterfront Park Community Center - 370 Brien Drive, Bainbridge Island at 4:00.
