Description
Bike the 53rd annual Chilly Hilly, a 33-mile loop around Bainbridge Island that takes you along the shore to soak in Seattle’s skyline, through forested rural roads, and (true to name) up and down some memorable hills.
Chilly Hilly is a fully supported 33-mile ride (with an option to skip the biggest hill on a 21-mile route) that kicks off the 2025 riding season with Cascade Bicycle Club. Riders may start from Bainbridge Island or take the ferry from the Colman Dock in Seattle to Bainbridge. In addition to supporting Cascade Bicycle Club’s advocavy, education, and community programming, your registration fee covers mechanical support, SAG support, ham radio club support, Outriders, Medical Riders, officials at highway crossings, a rest stop with snacks and drinks at Battle Point Park, a baggage truck to store dry clothes, and your ferry fare if you start in Seattle.
As always, the Bainbridge Island Senior Center will be offering chili for sale. Purchase online in advance to save, or at the door. New for 2025, the Bainbridge Island Rowing Club is offering a “warming depot” next door for family, friends, and extra room for riders to eat their chili indoors. Register before Feb. 10 and save $15. Registration closes Feb. 20 at 11:59 p.m.
Base Registration before Feb. 10 is $65. Base Registration after Feb. 10 is $80.
Youth Tickets are $20 (under 19).
Option to donate to Cascade or purchase a Chilly Hilly T-shirt with 2025's adorable Otter mascot logo.
Scholarships are available online at cascade.org or by emailing [email protected]
