Description
Led by Physical Therapist and Yoga Teacher, Carol Ann Davidson, this series is designed for people who want to maintain or improve their balance, reduce their risk of falling, gain confidence, and optimize mobility. You will learn gentle yoga and balance poses in addition to learning how your body maintains balance, how aging can impact balance, how to safely get up if a fall does occur, and strategies to maintain safety in your home. No previous yoga experience required. Space is limited.
Carol Ann Davidson PT, DSc, RYT 500 has over 30 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist, 7 years as a registered yoga teacher, and is currently enrolled in a program to become a certified yoga therapist. She believes that yoga is a lifelong practice that can help people of all abilities improve or maintain strength, flexibility, balance, breath, ease, and function. Blending physical therapy and yoga therapy, she provides support, education, and training for a safe and sustainable movement practice.
