Each year, the Bainbridge Island Modern Quilt Guild (BIMQG) hosts the Bainbridge Quilt Festival, a celebration of the art and joy of quilting.
Join us to enjoy more than 200 beautiful, handmade quilts displayed throughout Winslow Green. This free community event welcomes everyone.
The festival began in September 2013, founded by former local fabric store owner Barbara Kirk. In 2026, we celebrate the 14th annual Bainbridge Quilt Festival, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Quilt registration is open to all and runs from June 30 through August 31, 2026. The festival is a non-juried, non-judged show, and all styles of quilts are welcome—from baby quilts and wall hangings to everyday favorites from your guest bed. This event is all about celebrating quilts, so do not hesitate to participate.
Please note that for 2026, we are accepting a maximum of 185 quilts. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your quilt is included.
Quilt drop-off for hanging will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
Quilt pickup will be on the day of the festival, Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 4:30 pm.
