Description
The Marge Williams Center is a nonprofit that has given Bainbridge nonprofits a home since 2001. It offers affordable offices for groups that are largely run by volunteers.
Qualifying nonprofits can rent an office or a low-cost mailbox. Tenants get high-speed internet, utilities, a shared conference room with a large screen and teleconferencing gear, and a shared copier and printer. They bring their own phone service.
The building was bought and renovated with a community fund drive in memory of Marge Williams. A later renovation added conference and technology upgrades, more efficient heating, and a rooftop solar array.
