Alina Korotkina is a unique resource in Kitsap County for GIA-certified natural diamonds and other precious gemstones, and for all manner of watch and jewelry repair, restoration, refurbishment, and repurposing. Ms. Korotkina is an award-winning designer and manufacturer of fine jewelry with clients located around the world. Born in Irkutsk, Russia, Ms. Korotkina in 2012 relocated to Bainbridge Island from Chicago, where she maintained a studio in the famed Jeweler's Row section of Chicago's vibrant diamond district. In 2019, Ms. Korotkina operates a showroom and workshop on Winslow Way East in the Shops at Harbor Square. Her original designs combine the grand traditions of Imperial Russian aristocracy with contemporary techniques employed by today's leading masters. Ms. Korotkina's designs range from single pieces for private clients to entire OEM lines. Each design is painstakingly matched to the personal tastes, styles, stories, and needs of her clients based on a highly personal dialogue in which clients are engaged in each step of the process from conception, to hand sketches, to computer renderings, to wax molds, to castings, to finished pieces. Ms. Korotkina's services include family heirloom repairs, restorations, and repurposings, insurance and estate appraisals, custom engravings, and fine watch repair. Ms. Korotkina has been voted Best Jewelry Store since 2019 in the Readers Choice Awards of the Bainbridge Island Review. She is also the 2008 winner of the New York JCK Magazine "Jewelers' Choice Award" for the diamond jewelry category. Everything is done in-house locally at her workshop, which keeps prices low and quality high.
