Bainbridge Island Flower Show

Bainbridge Island Flower Show

Bainbridge Island, WA 98110

Started in 1936 when a few Bainbridge Island women and men gathered at Rolling Bay Schoolhouse, and still strong all these years later!

Volunteer judges are invited from out of the area, entries do not have the designer’s name, and all judges must have taken the National Garden Club (NGC) judging courses.

There are three divisions: horticulture, design and special exhibits.

One main aspect of the show is the unpredictability: club members have no idea of knowing what season will happen every year. In 2011, the summer was unseasonably cool.

Each year brings a new and exciting theme for the show.

Exhibitors must be a member of an accredited National Garden Club.

The group meets the second Monday September through June at 9:30am, First Baptist Church, State Route 305.
