Event: Danskin Women's Triathlon Series Training Seminar
Host: Danskin

Time: 6:30 PM
Details: Calling ALL women ages 14+. Danskin, the women's fitness apparel company, holds the Danskin Tri Series the longest running and largest women's multi sport event in the world a sprint triathlon in eight cities nationwide. The Danskin race will take place on August 17th but Danskin sponsors training seminars in and around race sites to help women prepare for the Danskin Triathlon. Whether it be your first or fifteenth Danskin race, the seminar can be beneficial and will help you train and prepare for race day. The Danskin Women's Triathlon Series Training Seminar is specifically designed to provide women of any age or fitness level with a regimented training routine to prepare for the race. Triathlon Hall of Famer Sally Edwards leads each seminar and provides training tips from exercise to eating and helps prepare you physically and mentally for the event. Edwards is the Danskin Spokeswoman and finishes each race last ensuring that no woman does. Edwards is the former Masters World Record Holder of the prestigious Hawaii Ironman and also a 16-time finisher of the race.
The Danskin Series is a combination .75 kilometer (half mile) swim, 20 kilometer (12.5 mile) bicycle ride and 5 kilometer (3.1 mile) run.
