Event: Bainbridge Island Studio Tour
Location: 7 different artist studios around the Island
Time: The studios are open 10am to 6pm all three days.
Details: The 3-day Summer Studio Tour on Bainbridge Island, Washington, takes place on August 13 through 15. This marks the 10th year for the summer event, and 55 artists will be on hand showcasing their work. Complete with live music to set the mood, grab a cool lemonade and stroll through seven artists studios and gardens to view the great selection of art and talk to the artists. Be sure to check out the artist's studios to see some works in progress, raw materials, tools, and perhaps some inspiration mixed in with a little sawdust.
This year s event features a wide selection of artistic mediums, including ceramics, wood, jewelry, garden art, furniture, oils, fiber art, photography, metal work, watercolors, glass art, and whimsical items. The atmosphere is complete thanks to the live music from talented regional musicians who perform as you shop at the studios and meet the artists.
All in all, you can't afford to miss one of the summer's hottest art shows. Bring a friend and spend the day. You're sure to find some gems!
