Event: Summer Dance Intensive
Host: Olympic Performance Group

Details: OPG s three-week summer dance intensive runs July 29 through August 20, 2008. Classes included are ballet, pointe, lyrical jazz, modern, musical theatre, yoga, and nutrition. The workshop is open to dance students with some dance experience ages seven through eighteen. Summer Workshop Performance on August 23 includes choreography by guest instructor Amy Klinger of the Radio City Rockettes, guest instructor Suzy Myre, and OPG staff choreographer/instructors Anna James Percival, Sara L. Cramer, and Stephanie Clarke. The performance will showcase a variety of dance styles with such pieces as "Big Spender" from Sweet Charity, classical ballet selections from Coppelia and Pas de Quatre, and original choreography in modern and jazz genres.
